On July 22, 2006 Manuel Göttsching performed his music to F.W. Murnau's silent movie SCHLOSS VOGELÖD (The Haunted Castle, 1921) for the first time live on electronics at the Opera Wroclaw, Poland.
The original score was composed for the Chamber Orchestra of the State Theater Brunswick (Lower Saxonia) and for Manuel on electronics, live performed by both paties and recoreded during the screening at the Filmfest Brunswick on October 1, 2003. Parts of this music have been released on the CD CONCERT FOR MURNAU (http://www.ashra.com/disco/1a52co.htm)

On July 29, 2006 Manuel Goettsching performed with Polish video artist Kinga at the International Film Festival Era New Horizons (http://7ff.eranowehoryzonty.pl/index.do?lang=en) in Wroclaw/Poland. For this year's edition we have released the DVD of this concert which is available from July 19, 2007 in the festival's shop in Wroclaw but also here (http://www.ashra.com/shop/welcome.htm). The international release will be in September.
German TV reports about the fashion show TROMMELFEUER (Drums on Fire) at Martin-Gropius-Bau, Berlin on January 30, 1982. Designers: Susanne Wiebe (Zazou) & Claudia Skoda. Choreography: Tabea Blumenschein & Susanne Wiebe. Music "88 minutes for 8 drummers": Manuel Göttsching & Klaus Krieger. A video of the show exists and is planned for release on DVD.

Tabea Blumenschein and Claudia Skoda at the Kongresshalle, Berlin (Congress
Hall) on November 11, 1979. Manuel Göttsching composed a kind of heavy metal
electronic for this spectaculous event where the models trained in the
Berlin Zoo how to walk and behave like birds. The Congress Hall fell down
shortly after the event - we hope not because of Manuel's powerful music :-)
The music of approx. 75 min. is professionally recorded and a video exists;
both to be released on CD/DVD.

August 27, 2006, 4 am. Manuel Göttsching performs "E2-E4" at the Metamorphose Festival in Japan for the first time ever live on stage in the original solo-version of December 12, 1981. CD and DVD to be released summer 2007.
