An extraordinary recitative of all 50 stanzas of Wallace Stevens'; witty, poignant, and philosophical musings on mortality. As the poem is spoken/sung/sounded, a table-top grave is decorated with imaginative bits of trash proffered from a red toolbox by a mysterious woman hosting a tea party for one.
Performed by Laylage Courie from the poem "Like Decorations in a Nigger [sic] Cemetery" by Wallace Stevens.
