LYRICS:
When I was a kid, I thought that time
was made up of a line
of shoe boxes
I'd fill them up with everyday
until they became yesterday
And I saw a line of empty boxes
waiting to be tomorrow
Search, search, we're traveling
Open the day called "78"
Where a fair maiden lives under the roof
of John and Geraldine's empty nest
Nine months of shoe boxes
He's in L.A., should she give her up?
Or should they name her Catherine?
Let's dial 18 up
Fast forward
When I was a kid, I thought that time

of shoe boxes

until they became yesterday
And I saw a line of empty boxes
waiting to be tomorrow
Search, search where lines collided
Her line shot off in '78
18 years of shoe boxes
About to embark uncertainly
She sits across from the palm readers
and turns her hands up to
reveal the lines
Will they tell her fortune?
Let's dial 28 up
Fast Forward

The next full-length CD project, Rusalka's Umbrella, is ready to hit the recording studio. These Vlog episodes will document the recording process through its release (estimated release fall 2007). This episode kicks off the pre-production when I visited Lutesn, MN on Lake Superior. Water is a dominant theme through the new songs, and Lake Superior has inspired many of them. This episode features music by Cloud Cult ("Waitress" and "Back Again P. II" off the album They Live on The Sun)
