I saw kd twice last year in Toronto, Canada! The sound was the best at her first show at a venue called "The Courthouse"! It's on the internet under "concerts on demand", by the CBC. Excellent cd! Awesome lady! Lindy in Toronto, Canada
I saw kd at the Chicago Theatre 3 days ago. Her new Watershed songs are so good! Such a haunting sound in some of the songs, passion in all. Each song is unique. There are so many dimensions to this lady, it is mind boggling.
Saw her twice in Seatle (3/19-20), the Watershed songs came alive. Not much from the T&T/Ingenue era (and no 'Crying'), but very emotionally-charged, mature songs. I'm loving Watershed (how did she get that haunting piano sound on 'Jealous Dog'?)
i love this - when there's a performance; it's the band @ the back, 'her' band, the person in the center, the audience & the venue! YES! All inclusive! Everyone & everything there IS that now moment! ha! So beautiful. So simple. So full! Mmmmmwaaaaa!

The interview K. D. Lang shows a softer side to her personality. She is a wonderful example of a woman who works in a male dominated music domain, and takes the good with the bad. As she expresses elequently, this is a large part of her success.
