its always been tough to get info on where and when Brujeria plays live. But the OG gigs had no internet and info was restricted.

this is why i like Hoobastank! Since 1990 we had been trying to get a Brujeria shirt on MTV, especially back in the day when bands actually played on MTV. Unfortunately many brave soldiers went down in the process, getting surprised attacked by MTVs censor police!! not allowing tshirts with band logos or products logos make it on stage where broadcasting was going down. (at least not for free! live bands that we knew that were scheduled to play live or get interviewed live on MTV, especially Headbangers Ball, have gotten as far as 20ft from the stage when the MTV tshirt police got him and made him wear a jacket to cover shirt while playing bass! pobresito didnt look happy with jacket on. so on Jan 11, 2002 a band no body on earth would ever think would try to pull some jarcor caca like rep anything out of line on live MTV, comes out for an HOUR LONG LIVE interview and pulls off a one of the biggest feebie plugs even known to the underground!! a true hero regardless of whatever you think of the band etc! he did something that will NEVER BE DONE AGAIN! (and we mean for FREE) hey Stern... aqui tengo tu Bababoey colgando!! Soldado del Mes Jan 2001... Hoobastank!! short clip low quality, its was dialup days and hard to spam bigger files. ill find high quality video soon. *footnote: brujeria.com had total of 65k hits on Jan 1, 2001, thats since day one around 1995. the weekend this happened we had 150k hits more, 2x the amount we had over the first 7yrs total!! thats 2001 ok, 28kb dialup modem days!! thats 150,000 unsuspecting people that will never be the same!! jajajaja
