This song is my first original bossa nova song. I was inspired to write it after listening to a YouTube performance by Carol Vegas. The Portuguese adaptation was written by Thays Glasgow. The song had it's public debut the day I recorded this, during a two hour set at the Bossa Nova Coffee shop here in Austin. Needless to say, I was a little tired when I filmed this...
