A LONG, SLOW, SAD Blues song with strong Floydian tones and gruff baritone sax interludes, a CUT, and a CUTOFF. It is always a delightful experience when composing to discover something that seems to WANT to reveal itself to you, and you merely UNCOVER it. It was originally going to be a piece on war, but after doing "Mars" I didn't feel like showing more war damage...

I don't just compose jazz-rock fusion pieces, I also produce synthesized classic pieces which have been transcribed into MIDI from the sheet music
This is Gustav Holst's "Mars" from his "Planets Suite", with a slide show of freely-available matching contemporary and classical art work
Some BETTER and LONGER classical works of mine may be found on esnips . com / web / Beachcomber-Classics
An ultimate achievement in life must be to orbit the Earth at 17,500 mph. Every liftoff and touchdown is a great personal risk, yet there is a continual stream of intelligent and physically-fit volunteers.
Video streams from NASA and ESA, the backing music is my 2007 composition "Far Yonder".
This reminds me of a band called "Nucleus" which I admired in the late sixties. Well, that's MY old times! Graphics and photos from other very talented people and Michael Cartwright of Modern Arts.
A song penned and sung by Steve Andrews (the Bard of Ely), with R&B arrangement by JazzRoc and harmonica accompaniment by Alan "The Harp" Mansfield. Slide show by the Bard and JazzRoc includes Louisa-Marie Glover, to whom I believe the Bard directs this song.
The initial piece from "Voyage" by World Music co-composed by Michael Fibonacci and JazzRoc, produced by Fibonacci-Collins. Art and graphics by Giovanni and Michel Cartwright.
More of my likes, including a few interesting aircraft and space vehicles. Music is "Hanging In The Air" from my album "JazzRoc's World". Artwork by Michael Cartwright of Modern Arts.
More likes and some dislikes. Music backing is my 2006 composition "Stadium Time". Photos by me and others, artwork by Michael Cartwright of Modern Arts.
