Part one of the three chapter blogs and the boys are starting off their tour in NYC by performing at The Living Room on the Lower East Side.

For their final leg of the busking tour, the band return to the cycle friendly city of Portsmouth to perform at the Albert Road Day Festival. With over 200 CDs sold (in just one week!), the band very satisfyingly complete the last of their busking shows with a well deserved beverage whilst reflecting on just what it meant to them being on the road to celebrate the everyday lives of the people they are influenced by.

The second final chapter of the busking diaries and the band are well and truly stuck. They have no beds to rest and in turn, no gig to perform that night. But alas, just when the band begin to convince themselves that partaking in a few beverages may be a comfortable alternative, the kind staff at St. Christopher's Inn offer them a bed and a place to play - not to mention an interesting buy one get one free offer that Mike contemplates almost a bit too seriously...

Part 5 of the busking diaries and /Passenger frontman, Mike Rosenberg, gives his account of just why he thinks that the music industry is far too image driven and gimmicky. When the band hit the streets they experience abuse from an over zealous Big Issue vendor and the police move them on as their amplification fails to meet the standards for street performances. But before they are told to turn off, they encounter a musician with a sad story that makes Mike stop and reflect on just how fortunate he is to be a part of one of the only bands in the industry who would feel comfortable taking busking to the streets.

The previous lackluster day in Bournemouth has knocked the bands confidence as part four of the UK busking tour diaries shows the band performing on the streets of Bristol. Fear not however, as soon as Mike and Stephen get over their troubles, a huge crowd gathers and the boys take back their negativity (and reel in some more audience members for their gig that night).

In this entry - we find out just how they justify a day off to visit the beach in the holiday town of Bournemouth...
