The "Wolves" music video is a radical departure from Inner Surge's previous video "Retribution Song", produced by "Cabras" film director Fredy Polania. Always one to break the mold, Shaun Friesen's directorial debut focuses on multimedia collage and conceptual animation based on the songs subject matter -- the 1994 Rwandan genocide - while the band takes a backseat. Inner Surge was inspired by acknowledged heroes such as Paul Rusesabagina and Romeo Dallaire, as well as the stories of the many ordinary Rwandans who helped others through this event.
