Silent Remasters returns to the Mercury Cinema (13 Morphett St, Adelaide, Australia) in 2009 with four new original scores to four classic silent films, performed live. The Cabinet of Dr Caligari (Supermarket rescore), Seven Chances (Aaron Kenny Rescore), The Phantom Carriage (The Pagan Collective rescore) & the Sentimental Bloke (BVA & the Lost Evidence rescore) will screen on consecutive Mondays and Thursdays from Nov. 26 to Dec. 7. The premiere of Basement Beats at the 2009 Adelaide Fringe Festival saw electronic music act Amoeba Muzak raise the roof with their jacking minimal techno.
