So, here it comes, FINALLY! I lost lot's of the out-door recordings that were meant to tell the story, so I had to rearrange this video a lot since the tape got corrupt and I had no time or chance to re-record it. Point is to visualize the feeling and the story beyond this song. It is really a letter, once written to a friend of mine.
Basics: It is about drug-addict. About loosing a friend to "the dark side", but also about the struggle to keep my own mind bright and clean. Even if I do not do drugs, I've found myself chained to things at times (aka music/darkness/sorrow etc) I symbolize that with a "clean" barbie me and a dark "chained" version. Rose-bush stands for "grave/rabbit hole". The frame stands for one way communication through a screen to the person this letter is addressing. Something like that..

The video was shot in two days, partially in a studio but also on location, as Stefan Hallgren had found a great place for a nightshoot. It became a magic session. The lighting equipment broke down, so we were forced to use the headlights on our car, and suddenly we had the shot! The video "Empty street" is directed by Stefan at Happy Minds and produced/edited by me.
