drumSTRONG is a truly unique, multicultural, family oriented, musical charity event to raise funds for cancer awareness, education, support and research. The Guinness World Record organization acknowledges that we will participate in the planet’s largest, longest continuous rhythm “Drum-A-Thon” ever held. Acres of grasslands at MISTY MEADOWS FARM in WEDDINGTON, NC will echo with the beat and rhythm of hundreds of drummers (and other musicians); novice, local professionals and celebrity artists. The event, held in a cancer resource “health fair” environment, will provide an audience for various cancer organizations to convey their missions and methods in hopes of inspiring a more hands on community dedicated to finding cures. Educating youth to the causes, early detection and affects of cancer is the primary mission of drumSTRONG. Drumming is the modus operandi.
