On March 25th 07, local Southern California Country instrumental trio, Merle Jagger, performed the Buck Owens instrumental "Bucks Polka" at a tribute show for the one year anniversary of the passing of Buck Owens. The night featured a handful of local LA Country bands performing Buck Owens songs at the Cowboy Palace in Chatsworth California where Toby Keith filmed his video "I Love This Bar." Merle Jagger would like to include that the Confederate flag hanging behind the stage does not in any way reflect our views politically. The flag is there as a prop decoration for the many movie and video shoots held at the venue which is noted as the last original standing Cowboy saloon in Southern California.
