October 3, 2004...musician Tommy Harrington (aka The Wanteds) leaves Portland, Oregon to embark on a 41-day cross-country tour to promote his self-written, self-recorded, and self-produced debut album Let Go Afterglow. With less than half his tour booked at the outset, virtually no money, and 10 days after finding out that his girlfriend is pregnant, Tommy spends the next six weeks driving 12,000 miles, seeking out venues, connecting with fans, selling merchandise, eating fast food, guzzling energy drinks, and sleeping in his car. After playing in various bands for over a decade, Tommy Harrington, a 34-year-old bartender, recovering drug addict, and first-time father-to-be, is on a singular obsessive mission to make it as a solo artist.
