Over the past few weeks, local Toronto promoter Dan Burke has put together a weekly series of shows billed as the NeXT / NXNE Discovery Series. The bands on these nights have been selected from some of the hundreds of bands submitted to NXNE for showcase opportunities this year. The purpose has been to give these bands a chance to bring their submission to "life" - an opportunity to show what they can do in a live setting.
