It's pretty far away but almost 20 seconds in you can see waves meet lava... Flashing light in the foreground is part of the barrier to keep us from falling into deep folds in the lava flow..

After making this video I learned that after the lava flow devoured Kalapana, a woman started a campaign to plant palms on it. She became ill with cancer and the locals continued in her honor. It's really amazing to see life sprouting amid the devastation.
