Yearning for the forever unobtainable, and underpinned with a sense of the fruitless pursuit, “Now Til 69” is The Shortwave Set with “pop” turned up to eleven, an addictive collage of Roxy-esque squelches, Spector drums, and The Fifth Dimension on vocals.
