Our friend Sarah "Marie" Wilson made this PSA for a contest held by Firestone Tires and it won first place! She used our song "Evaporate" (from <i>Your New Attraction</i>) as the music. We thought is was pretty rad and wanted to share. Enjoy!

This video was directed by the amazing Chris Berkenkamp! Josh woke up in the middle of the night and scribbled the idea on a piece of paper and then went back to sleep, only to discover the idea in the morning. There are a lot of our friends in this video. See if you can spot members of Darci Cash, The Absentee and The Parson Redheads among the fabulous contributors! We shot this video in the summer of '06 & our good friend Brett Tinnes sweated in a bear suit for three days to make this video--thanks Brett! I don't think he would have done it if he had realized how much it was gonna suck. Boss Nelson, our longtime photographer also makes an appearance--he is the fellow that gets bumped going up the stairs! Also, the bear is named after a bear in one of Josh's favorite books... any guesses? Also note the strong '80's teen comedy influence, including the "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" reference in the outro (as Josh runs done the hall stopping and starting).

This was our first music video. It was directed by the wonderful Shane Conrad, and his fabulous crew. The idea was Shane's own. The owner of our booking agency (Tin Panda) is one of the fellows seated at the table that Josh waits on. Also sitting at the table are our friends Kim and Brett, who both appear in the Sometimes video as well. Kate, an intern at our managment company ATN Management is also in the video (Jeffrey, another intern, one did our makeup!). The rest of the people where cast by Shane (except one of our manager's extremely hilarious friends), and where all super sweet and did an awesome job. We got super picky for some reason and insisted that all of our equipment actually be set up and plugged in like at a performance, including pedal boards, cables and amps--join the club of people who don't care or didn't notice. This was shot in the outdoor patio of a real restaurant in Santa Monica in one really long day.
