These videos were directed by Lisa Houle for my Grave New World album that was on Rockworld Sony. MTV banned them for content . The first video, Johnny In The Sky was shot in New York City. It is a tribute to New York Dolls guitarist Johnny Thunders and features never before seen home movie footage of Johnny as a child and footage from Johnny's movie, Born To Lose. The building on fire in the background was an actual New York City blaze. The second video Magenta Sky was shot in New York City as well. The little girl in the video is my daughter, Darian. Both songs were recorded right after Johnny Thunders' death. The video production team was Eric Hammer & Ben Edlund, who later went on to create the successful comic & television program, The Tick.
