On March 30, 2007 the second performance of the new composition 2012: A Requiem for Baktun 12 [the 13th and Final Cycle] for bass clarinet quartet, tabla, percussion, throat singing, and shakuhachi occurred at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, CA. The piece was written by Cornelius Boots for this 3 day event, and this is the complete second movement which is called "during". Joining Edmund Welles for this piece were Bryan Kehoe, guitar virtuoso and man of 1000 voices, and Micah McClain, drummer extraordinaire and tabla adept.
