Obviously not taken for the video of josh since it's not close enough to get a good pic but rather more for the sake of having the audio clip and being able to remember it forever. Josh dedicated this song to our troops and armed service members.

This video is what I created for an assignment in my contemporary American literature class in response to reading Don DeLillo's novel White Noise. The many themes of the novel center around the ways in which we have allowed technology, television, and the media to take control of our lives. I chose a quote from the novel and based my video on it, as well as using quotes in the novel that come from the every day "White Noise" that we get from the TVs, radios, and magazines. The overload of information we receive, the way we are told to follow a certain lifestyle, this video is a collection of clips that I believe will show the ways in which our lives are being run by white noise today. "This is the language of waves and radiation, or how the dead speak to the living. And this is where we wait together, regardless of age, our carts stocked with brightly colored goods.
