The cars are going by at flat out speeds. I'm talking, 180-195mph. Super fast at the 2007 Long Beach Grand Prix's Champ Car Practice Session on Friday morning.

Where I go for workouts on my bike, there's a bride where trains cross. Amtraks, Metrolinks and freight trains like this one cross all the time. It's rare to not see a train when out for a ride.

I tested a camera rig I created myself using a lighting clamp and a support I use to hold my LCD screen for my camera. Near the end, the support fails and the camera slips backwards, going to a shot of my butt.... ....I hate it when rigs fail.... ....anyways, this rig I cannibalized is going to be used in a short film I'm making about cycling, and also to record moments as I begin a strict training regiment to go semi-pro in the cycling world. So, how'd it go for the first rig I've made?

My dog, Friskee, barks a lot when she wants a treat. This can be interrpreted as her motivating me to do something for her, or that the Russians are finally rolling the old Red Army in. Yes, this is all a very bad joke.

This is my dog, Friskee. She's a 10 year old mutt. She can speak on command. Yes, she really is the greatest dog on the planet.

20 minutes in 27 Seconds. Drove my uncle home, decided to do a driving time-lapse of sorts. Unlike most time-lapse photography, which is done using a still camera and photos put together, I used my Mini-DV PD-150 and let it run for 20 minutes in my car. So I took 20 minutes worth of footage and crammed it down into 29 seconds. More of these driving time-lapses are on the way.

Just the waves hitting the boat I was fishing on with my best friend, his little brother and his dad. This is going back from the trip, so we're going away from Catalina and to Long Beach Harbor.

Just coming back from the fishing trip I went on with Daniel, his litter brother (Eric) and Daniel's dad. We fished just off of Catalina. It was a freakin' awesome time. I'm definitly going again.

Every wonder what I used to make that split screen photo of me playing chess against myself with? Well, here's the video I used. I took a still from the last few frames, did a simple split screen and viola!

Heh, funny stuff. I was looking through all my old projects and found this in a project I did for a Portfolio of my work in English 11, the break-out period for my writing. So this is special to me, and funny too. Watching it makes me dizzy.
