Our film for the 2008 NYC Film Race. We had 24 hrs to create a 4 minute short. Our theme was HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Our surprise element was AN ACTION: HANGING A PICTURE.

Team Splash's project for the 2007 National Film Challenge. We had 3 days to write, shoot, and edit a 4-8 minute short (plus 1 minute of credits.) Friday at 7pm they gave us 2 out of 14 genres to choose from, and a character, prop, and line of dialogue to include in the film...the rest was up to us... The two genres we had to choose from were Action/Adventure and Silent Film (we chose action/adventure since we did silent film for the 2006 48hr. A bum who washes car windows for money during traffic comes across an opportunity that betters him for the rest of his life. (shot for the 48hr Film Project 2006. The character to use was J. SPLAIN; A WINDOW WASHER, the prop was A PHOTO OF A PET (this shot was lost from the finished product), the line of dialogue was "THAT'S WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND NAIVE." The genre we got was SILENT FILM. The rest was up to us.
