Two incarcerated brothers escape during a prisoner transfer and try to stay alive as the city is devoured by a plague of zombies. Also, somebody gets stabbed in a very uncomfortable place. And I'm not talking about the back seat of a Volkswagon. Or their ass. This short was made in 2005 and it's kinda weird watching it now as I've made more than a few strides as a film maker - this seems pretty primitive in retrospect. But for like $5 and 2.5 days of shooting it's pretty alright. I'm happiest with the last 2/3rds. I'll work on getting a higher res version up as soon as I can find time.

An excerpt from the parts of Episode 7 of InZer0 (aka the Halloween episode) that I wrote and shot/directed. The title pretty much sums it up. Raimi, played by Sonja Rabicki, is trapped in a basement. So are a bunch of zombies. Sucks to be them.

Title says it all - taken on a cellphone, so don't expect sweeping Citizen Kane-like cinematography.

One of our cats, Pixel, has some weird neurological thing that ocassionally causes him to regard his hind legs as separate entities - entities which must be destroyed. Happily he wins this bout and then vanishes using some crazy cat-ninjitsu. Or catjitsu. Whatever...
