Rebecca Lauren and Alyssa Barlow, of the Christian music pop/rock band BarlowGirl, share a few comments on their forthcoming release "Love and War." The new CD comes out September 22. Two-time Grammy nominee Sarah Kelly will lead worship at the Lutheran Church of Peace in Platteville, WI. Sunday APril 5th @ 8 AM and 10:30 AM. All are welcome.

Fervent Records recording artist BarlowGirl will make a concert stop in Platteville. The acoustic show is Sunday March 1st at the Center for the Arts on the UW-Platteville campus. The concert begins at 7 PM. Advance tickets are $15 for UW-Platteville students and $20 for the general public. Tickets cost $5 more the day of the show. All seats are reserved. Tickets are available through the UW-P Box Office. Call (608) 342-1298 for information. After the show, the band will hold a Q&A session with the audience. Since 2004, BarlowGirl has received 10 Dove Awards nominations, including Best New Artist, Group of the year and Contemporary Rock Song.
