This is a 1 camera, no edit, video providing you with just a glimpse of the episode to come. The footage is from Neurosis from their legendary performance on 1/25/08 at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple located on Clermont and Lafayette Avenues in Brooklyn NY. This building has loads of history and mystique about it. The building was built some time after the Civil War in the vicinity of Nathaniel Greene Park where many brave men gave their lives in the Battle of Brooklyn during the Revolutionary War. It is also conceivable that Aleister Crowley, the Beast himself, may have visited this building during his much documented stay here in the Americas during the turn of the 20th Century. At any rate the magickal currents running through this building, on this very night, were tangible to say the least and lots of freaky shit happened to us all in attendance. Stay tuned for the pending episode and for the time being please compare for yourself our video with the dozen or so other videos out there on Youtube from this very same performance and we think you'll agree our video is the most poignant, visceral, first-person account of them all. Unlike most of these competing videos, ours was shot from the bowls of the 'pit' and not from the safety of the wings or balcony and it is our sincere belief that the risks we took to capture this footage results in the ultimate account of this once-in-a-lifetime event. Also for the record, let it be stated that this Neurosis video is not a proper production of ours like we have done in the past with multi-camera shoots and intricate editing practices but is infact is a most frank and personal account of a night spent out by 'we' the primary forces behind Luminescence in observance of perhaps the most singularly important band in all the Underground. It wasn't until sometime after reviewing the footage we thought, 'you know what? we could make this an episode'. So sit back, relax and experience the experience of Neurosis live in person.
