With their 'fiddle' player on bass Saltdog gave us a storming set. Sounding to me like a blend of the Levellers and the Wonderstuff I found it hard to keep the camera still with all the dancing!! With their own unique and original style the Fancy Dress Party opened our ears to some inventive combinations of sounds. A 5 cam shoot using blended audio from cam and desk. During their set the Fancy Dress Party gave away a free CD which took some time so this is the second edit where i have removed some of the timeline. All the banter is still there and the tracks are in the order played still!

billing themselves as like 'Kraftwerk played by builders' !!!!! The modest Weird Gear gave a great performance for the 1st Cosmic Puffin Festival. A few technical glitches means i have employed some extra cuts to avoid including the long gaps between numbers!!! Hence, unlike most MyChoonz videos, this is not running along the 'true' timeline although all the tracks are in the right order!! a 4 cam set using unmastered desk audio.

Rhizomes lively up the Cosmic Puffin Festival 2008 with some wonderful reggae tunes for us all. Plenty of original Rhizomes vibes with lots of classic Bob Marley choonz too! Look out for the guitar change track where 'Monkey' takes to the lead vox for a while! A fabulous set despite several 'technical issues' with the sound and a stage 'invasion' too!! A 5 cam set using, for the most part, audio recorded from the desk (the Official Cosmic Puffin DVD will benefit from audio 'remastering'). The fantastic Dream Machine tickle our auditory fancy with an amazing set yet again. Regrettably, the first 3 mins of the set had to be 'ditched' due to really poor audio. this means the amazing introduction from Arthur Brown he sang it rather than spoke it!) isn't included in this video :( a 4 cam set using audio recorded by Pete W, mastered by Stuart McLean, ever so slightly added to with camcorder audio to keep the continuity between tracks. this video is a real treat with some MINDBLOWING shredding from Alex Pym on 'git machine' and some incredible flautism from Jon 'Champgnon' Egan. also watch out for some italian 'rapping' from Gabs and an awesome lyrical rendition of Jon's own ISCENCE blending in, this video is a 'MUST SEE ALL THE WAY THROUGH'.
