During Fire Safety Night at the Reading Phillies, star mascot Screwball is escorted onto the field by 'Shimmy' on Lil' Engine 3

After a 3 alarm fire destroyed much of the Kurtz House bar and sleaze joint the owner hired the fly-by-night wrecking company to take part of the structure down. They used a truck with a chain attatched to take down the corner, the rest they did by hand

During Fire Safety Night at the Reading Phillies game, several between inning activities were performad by Reading Firefighters. In the Base Run, contestants run the bases and put on different peices of fire gear. The one to Home base first wins.

2004 Prince George County, MD. annual IAFF/MDA Softball tourney. The men were on fire that year and decided to take on several other departments in a chariot race between games.
