last october all the shelter staff went bowling in noord amsterdam together. at one point "oh happy day" came on and the bowling alley came alive with dancing, singing (off key even), and laughter

when we were in nijmegen i was videoing the guys playing hacky sack and then asked anne to say something in dutch. i'm not exactly sure what she said so if you do, please translate it for me! haha

freek always "walks" with his hands when he's telling a story and it always makes me laugh. so i was determined to get a video of it to watch on bad days to make me feel better. lynn helped me, and even though it's only a few seconds, it does the trick :)

at madame tussaud's in amsterdam in the lance armstrong section is a bike and people can ride the bike like a computer game in a race. unfortunately, the bike is made for very tall people, and rala's feet wouldn't quite reach as well as would have been necessary. hence the butt dance.

nicole used to dance like this when she was a kid and her family thought she was handicapped. so now we all do it just for fun.
