Blackburn lands a good right to start things off, though he’s clearly wary of Heleno’s takedowns. Heleno shoots for a double-leg and Blackburn tries to sprawl, but is eventually taken to the mat. Blackburn gets back to his feet, only to get caught in a bodylock and put back down. Heleno moves to side control with thirty seconds left in the round, but Blackburn recaptures half-guard. Heleno finishes the round by flipping over Blackburn with a flying punch and then raining down hammer fists before the bell. Round 2 Heleno keeps the second round mostly on the mat, landing some damaging strikes from the top position and once even securing the mount against Blackburn. Blackburn continues to show his resiliency though, struggling to get to his feet at the bell. Round 3 Blackburn tries to keep away from Heleno, striking from the outside and avoiding the takedown. Heleno shoots in and gets stuffed, with Blackburn landing a knee and a nice right hand as he gets back to his feet. A stunned Heleno is slow to respond, and Blackburn knocks him into the ropes before finishing him with a flurry of punches. Brad Blackburn defeats Delson Heleno via TKO at 1:50 of round three.

Hieron starts with a good right hand and then follows with a takedown that lands him in Miller’s guard. Hieron wastes no time going to work with strikes from the top. Miller can’t seem to find an answer for Hieron’s ground and pound, and the punishment continues with Miller getting bloodied up in the corner. Finally, the referee moves in to stop this one. Hieron retains his welterweight title in dominating fashion. Jay Hieron defeats Mark Miller via TKO (ref stoppage) at 2:10 of round one.

Fabiano scores first in this one with a hard leg kick that trips Lierley and sends him to the mat face first. He’s up quickly, and is clearly conscious of Fabiano’s takedowns. Fabiano moves in and throws a big right hand that connects, dropping Lierley in a heap against the ropes. Wagnney Fabiano defeats Shad Lierley via KO (punch) at 0:30 of round one.

Round 1 (Images) The two start tentatively, circling one another and testing the distance with jabs. Lamotte lands a good right early on, but Horodecki seems unfazed. The first round continues as a striking contest, with Horodecki staying more active in the final two minutes. The round ends with a clinch against the ropes, the crowd jeering Horodecki for grabbing the ropes to avoid a takedown. Round 2 Horodecki comes out fast with kicks and left hooks, but Lamotte catches a kick to the body and uses it to transition into a takedown. Lamotte lands some damaging blows from the guard, but Horodecki kicks him off and gets to his feet. Horodecki lands a nice right hand and follows with some solid kicks to the body. Just before the bell he adds a takedown, finishing the round in Lamotte’s guard. Round 3 The two resume their striking war in the final frame, with Horodecki doing a good job of mixing in low kicks with punches to keep Lamotte off-balance. Lamotte is unable to do much damage on the feet, but with under a minute left he secures a takedown and lands in Horodecki’s guard. Lamotte opens up with a barrage of punches in the final seconds, landing squarely as Horodecki struggles to escape. This is a tough one to call as we head to a judges’ decision.
