I was asked today by a close friend what was so valuable about this video that made it important for people to see? My response was that celebration is the most important element that is missing from peoples' lives - in general. The simple celebration of the gift of life and all the amazing gifts that life has to offer. That when celebration is missing from our lives, dissatisfaction steps in and when we are dissatisfied, we find plenty to be dissatisfied about. To quench the thirst we seek satisfaction in so many ways that can never fulfil the need, we compete for dwindling space and resources with each other and collectively with other cultures. celebration, I believe is integral to world peace and I personally make it a priority in my life. Community celebration acts as a safety valve allowing pent up energy to discharge, and allows us to find common ground as we see ourselves in each other - the same smiling eyes/heart looking back at us. I believe that our culture rooted in celebration is the way forward. Industry based in celebration rather than competition and destruction will still empower our economy and result in a successful future for our society.
