It's that time again for a good time at the Ripon Skatepark! This year will be pretty much the same deal. The contest will be set up on a jam format. Depending on how many contestants we will have a few groups first and dwindle that down to a final jam to crown a winner. Our all star Judge panel which will include Joey Tershay, John Cardiel and a couple others yet to be confirmed. The prizes for this year will go down like this. First Place: $1000.00 Second Place: $250.00 + Tons of product Third Place Tons of product There will also be a series of 4 Best Trick Contest's on different parts of the park. BEST TRICK #1 - THE SPINE BEST TRICK #2 - MIDDLE HIP BEST TRICK #3 - BATHROOM NIPPLE BEST TRICK #4 – 9 FOOT WALL These will go down in-between jams and through the whole day. The best trick contest is open to anyone you don't have to enter the contest to enter any of the best trick contests. We have a couple sponsors that will be throwing up cash and product prizes for these events. There will also be the standard raffle with over 50 prizes to win (same as last time) As far as food goes we usually work with one of the local businesses to come out and hook up the food. Redbull will be flowing for all you energy drink freaks. There is still a lot that will get pieced together in the next week so stay tuned for updates. Caliskatz Skate Jam at the Shop October 2008. We had a little jam in the parking lot & then took it over to the school down the street where the local kids came in gaggles and a couple of them threw themselves down a huge gap.
