This video compliments of fellow comic Tom Foss while we were touring Iraq with Comics On Duty. A mortar round from an insurgent hit the US camp's ammunition depot, which ignited. Rather than extinguish the fire and risk danger, the Army opted to let it burn off. The result was a series of blasts that forced us to take cover. Scary stuff. The female voice is that of the Captain in charge of our safety. She's counting us at the end to make sure we were accounted for. We were fine, as was everyone on the base, but it was the scariest thing I've ever been involved in.
