Originally created for the exhibition "Con:text", Metro Arts Brisbane 2005. I scanned foreign language tapes and CDs for false friends (faux amis) - words in one language that sounded similar to words of another language. Once I had enough words that sounded like English words I constructed a rough sentence/ narrative out of it. It has a feel of a psycho-sexual film-trailer. If you know of other false friends, tell me please - I need more! 1=French, 2=German, 3+4= Arabic
