STANDPOINT the present audiovisual pieces (dipintura and luz) are rapresented as one-way station, where one's memory may recognize references according to a subjective order coming from the same observer which must be kept isolated from an apparent sequencing of addressings or of sceneries. each station of a same there on which core, formal and dependent standpoints are developed, are complete autonomy from each other. the same construction of this "product", has been affected at some points from being "re-intervened" on itself, as in continous recalling towards a possible indefinite game; as in a two mirrors reflection, (one placed in front of the other) in which a reflected image is seen and vary according to the viewer's standpoint. THE SOUND the sound is the music inspired on the whole of the visual context and its deriving ideas, not as a soundtrack or a mere auxiliary means but as a response. it also the silence, an opportunity of one's slip of the mind maybe interrupted by other sound events: the whole is the sound of that particular setting or space. THE VIDEO the video is the one element which may recollect the ideas derived from the object: the light. light becomes a key element of transfiguration and of an predictable interpretative ride. thus the video can become the railway on which the two dimensions can be displayed.

jeanne lee's take a breath is the inspiration for this piece: its artlessness and depth of meaning in expressing the basic truths of life and death were ideal for an experiment in fragmenting and reconstructing sound and meaning. the first level of fragmentation was the translation of the text from the original american english into french, german and italian, thus augmenting the phonetic variables. the second level was the uneven cutting of the words and sentences of both the original and the translations. the apex of the composing process was the creation of graphic signs used as musical symbols: each symbol represented the phonetic value for the performing voice. thus four tracks, each in a different language, were recorded by the performer in front of a digital camera using the camera's mike; then the image/sound tracks were computer edited into a coherent whole. the purpose of this experiment is to underline the meaning and function of music as giving value and cohesiveness to differences creating chaos, perhaps, out of order and life out of chaos. the background photo in the video is le baiser, bordighera 1982 by h. newton. note di programma l'ispirazione per questa pièce è stata take a breath di jeanne lee: la semplicità e la profondità di significato nell'esprimere le verità di base di vita e della morte erano ideali per un esperimento di frammentazione e ricostruzione del suono. il primo livello di frammentazione è stato la traduzione del testo dallo slang americano originale al francese, al tedesco e all'italiano, aumentando così le variabili fonetiche. il secondo livello è stato il taglio irregolare delle parole e delle frasi sia nell'originale che nelle traduzioni. l'apice del processo compositivo è stata la creazione di segni grafici usati come simboli musicali: ogni simbolo ha rappresentato il valore fonetico da modulare con la voce. così quattro piste, ciascuna in un differente linguaggio, sono state registrate dall'esecutore con una video camera digitale quindi, le tracce audio e video sono state editate in un intero coerente. lo scopo di questo esperimento è di sottolineare il significato e la funzione della musica e come essa dia valore e coesione alle differenze. la foto sullo sfondo nel video è di di H.Newton le baiser, bordighera 1982 RUMINANZE© [Multimodal Collective Writing] | BLUCODE LAP [Live Action Performance] | BLU'S PRODUZIONI | Italy 2007
