Eddie - Chuck Jackson - All Over The World

Ian Levine quote'Chris Hill made this the all time floorfilling anthem at the Lacy Lady and the Caister Weekenders. Despite its popularity it never crossed over to the pop charts, although many thought it did, due to its sustained longevity, but a later version by Junior Giscombe, did indeed become a hit. But the pride of working with a legend like Chuck Jackson can never be underestimated. Chuck, of course, was a legend long before he signed to Motown, and his three Motown albums were nothing short of pure genius, but at least as far as Great Britain was concerned, this was his biggest ever song.' Thanks Ian and Chris - let the soul live on

Frances Nero - Footsteps Following Me

00:00
Quote from Ian Levine 'Frances Nero won a talent contest in Detroit in 1965, won a year's recording contract with Motown, and released one single, 'Keep On Loving Me', then recorded for Eddie Singleton's Shrine label, but those recordings never even came out, so she went twenty three years between releases. I wrote this song, which I adore, with Ivy Jo Hunter, the man who wrote 'Dancing In The Street'. I found Frances in Detroit and she hadn't even recorded for twenty three years. This was the only Motorcity release to cross over to the charts. However, and much to Frances' constant annoyance to this present day, the deal for Motorcity was an exclusive one, and was frozen, with no more releases coming out, and the only way I freed up the entire catalogue was to waive all rights to royalties for Footsteps, so none of us made a penny off it. Sad. But still a wonderful record and a classic, especially thanks to Chris Hill. ' I used to go to Clubs when Chris Hill and Froggy were DJing in the 70's.

The rocks are named Adam and Eve and are on top of Tryfan. Simon demonstrates to me how to go from one to the other. But nope, my feet are staying on the ground - see phot section.
