These postcards were placed all over Los Angeles and Orange County. This postcard is the first in a series of Easter Eggs.

This bake sale was held for the Big 3 American Automakers (Ford, GM and Chrysler) at the 2008 LA Auto Show. $4 dollars was raised. $2 for Ford, $1 for GM and $1 dollar was donated. The donated dollar was divided evenly between the 3 companies and sent by mail directly to the CEOs. Ford CEO, Alan Mulally, announced if the US government would loan Ford money, he would work for $1 dollar a year. If that's the case, I have paid for 2 and one third years as this bake sale yielded $2.33 for Ford. All 3 CEOs announced they would be driving to Washington DC to ask for a 25 billion dollar bailout. Maybe one hour's sleep, I'm not sure, because time became silly putty--all stretched out without definition. We skateboarded from Wilshire and Grand to Wilshire and Ocean in Los Angeles, California and then some. It was 95 degrees outside. We met a man who spoke dinosaur. I taped this man in Downtown Los Angeles a while back. I've been back to see if he's still around, but I never saw him again. Anyway, his voice is incredible and to be there was even better. I think, personally, he has just as much talent if not more than any singer out today. And soul, don't even get me started. Please enjoy. Donny
