Jim Martin voted against making soliciting minors for prostitution a felony. He voted against making English our official language twice. Martin also voted for what was the largest tax increase in Georgia's history. And, Martin voted to increase his own taxpayer funded expense check by 27 percent -- which amounted to a pay increase that he could spend on himself.

The facts about Al Franken's misleading ad. On Iraq, Al Franken has stated that he agrees with President Bush's Iraq policy. On the middle class, Al Franken supports increasing the gas tax by at least 5-10 cents at the same time that families are struggling with high energy costs. And, Franken has received more than $190,000 from special interests, and more than $100,000 from Hollywood liberals.
The more you know about Al Franken, the clearer the choice.

Barack Obama and Senate Democrats promise union bosses they'll pass the dishonestly named Employee Free Choice Act -- which would strip employees of their fundamental right to a secret ballot vote in union elections. The secret ballot would be replaced with a public and easily corruptible "Card Check" that would greatly increase Big Labor's stranglehold on our economy.
Not only will Card Check allow union bosses to intimidate workers to join a union, it will also move the entire political landscape to the left.
One union boss projected Card Check will generate billions in new union dues each year. Money that will be spent on two things: more union organizing and more political spending by Big Labor to elect even more Democrats to the Senate.
Make no mistake about this -- more money for Democrat politicians gives them an advantage in the voting booth, which in turn will lead to more legislation pushed through the Senate that is detrimental to our values.

Lawyer-lobbyist Jim Slattery's misleading attack ad conceals Slattery's own record of supporting a higher federal gas tax. The last time Congress raised the gas tax, Jim Slattery voted for it -- his opponent Pat Roberts opposed the tax hike.
Now you know Jim Slattery's real record of increasing your cost at the pump.

Kay Hagan claims she'll work across party lines, but her record in the state Senate proves otherwise. Doug Clark of News & Record said that Democrats in the State senate "denied Republicans the chance to debate their budget." (News & Record, June 25, 2008) And, the News & Observer reported "year after year, leaders in the Democrat-controlled state Senate use the rules to close off debate and limit budget amendments." (News & Observer, June 19, 2008)
"You only need to look at the kind of state Senator I've been for the last 10 years to see what kind of U.S. Senator I'll be."
