The Boxer is a silent play by Matt Lyle. I had its World Premiere production in the Summer of 2007 at the Festival of Independent Theaters in Dallas, TX. This scene features Steve Jones, Joel McDonald, Ben Bryant, Jeff Swearingen, Kim Lyle and Music by B. Wolf and Johnny Sequenzia. The play is an homage to the silent slapsticks of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. It features a sweet and simple love story packed with chases, rousing dance numbers and culminates with a fight with the fearsome Bavarian Beast!
