This is my sister Dannielle singing one of the songs she wrote. Video doesn't sound the best, but the audio is really good.
It is a song about dealing with tragedy. Things like death, suicide, depression, loss, suffering and finding God there. It's a personal song for her.
Here are the lyrics:
V1:
At Your feet I lay broken
My heart's been torn by the hate of this world
Depression lurks around every corner
You're the reason that I am still hanging on
You're the only reason I'm still hanging on
Ch:
I will dance through the Tears
While the storm rages on I will dance
I will sing in Your ear
While my enemies stand and scoff I will sing
V2:
In Your arms I find comfort
Slowly rocking away the pain
Silently You share my burden
So that I do not bear it alone
So that I do not bear it alone
Ch:
I will dance through the Tears
While the storm rages on I will dance
I will sing in Your ear
While my enemies stand and scoff I will sing
While my enemies stand and scoff I will sing
Br:
Did You not promise that You were coming
To take me home some day
The land where Love conquers evil
And pain and suffering are far away
final Chorus ends on "While my enemies stand in awe, I will sing"

3rd practice. Figured we'd put up what we've been writing. Still no lyrics, but a temporary arrangement. Recorded live in the studio(Klarity Audio.)
What do you think?
First writing from the new band. Instrumental still. What do you think? The audio is good because I recorded it in the studio, and it has been mixed. But it is really us playing, and it is live.
