Thanks to Thomas Burke and the IFC at Auburn University, we were able to create an almostGolf course and play through the campus of Auburn University. It was a two day event with a driving range on the first day and the event on the second day. This was one of the best tournaments of the year. Distributed by Tubemogul.

The Meschewski Open has got to be the best example of a neighborhood golf tournament in the world. He raised $10k a year for the last five years. THE GOLF COURSE: He gets over 200 players to compete on two 18 hole courses built around the neighborhood, over streets and between houses using the almostGolf ball. Perry Wright created his own neighborhood golf course using the almost Golf ball. It's a tight 9 hole 'golf course', but it was fun and hard to reach par. A lot of cut shots to get around obstacles. Perry practiced on this course before the 2007 USC almostGolf Open and he got second place. No wonder. He's now moved on to golf in his school...and they will be using the almostGolf ball. This is the first in a series of almostGOLF clips about how to create your own almost-golf (Streetgolf - urbangolf - crossgolf) course around your neighborhood, park, school yard or business. This all came about when we were designing an on campus golfathon around the football field to raise money for the golf team. As we were scouting the course we saw they had an amazing four story parking garage. What a course element! So we decided to integrate the garage into the golf course. It was a huge hit. Though the goal posts were not there when we shot the clip, the idea was to have the shot go through the goal post and onto the garage. It's a great dramatic way to get onto the garage. This was one of our trickiest shots because you had to determine where to hit the ball onto the parking lot down slope and then where the ball was going to roll.
