i recorded this at the turning stone the band is gone now

This is a new version of a video i made in the past i redid it to correct some issues and clean up the audio

This is a video i put together using the song hometown Glory By Adele remixed with parts of speeches by Sec Of Defense Robert Gates And Ben Stein and pics from various locations

Can you spare a pittance of time for those who stood for us all The song was done by a Canadian His name is Terry Kelly, the situation that inspired his song follows; On November 11, 1999 (the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month; WWI) Terry Kelly was in a Shoppers Drug Mart store in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Canada . At 10:55 AM an announcement came over the store's PA asking customers who would still be on the premises at 11:00 AM to give two minutes of silence in respect to the veterans who have sacrificed so much for us. Terry was impressed with the store's leadership role in adopting the Legion's "two minutes of silence" initiative. He felt that the store's contribution of educating the public to the importance of remembering was commendable. When eleven o'clock arrived on that day, an announcement was again made asking for the "two minutes of silence" to commence. All customers, with the exception of a man who was accompanied by his young child, showed their respect. Terry's anger towards the father for trying to engage the store's clerk in conversation and for setting a bad example for his child was later channelled into a beautiful piece of work called, "A Pittance of Time". Terry later recorded "A Pittance of Time" and included it on his full-length music CD, "The Power of the Dream".

I put this video together to bring some attention to what some veterans deal with when they come home to what should be a happy time for them and their family only to have their world fall apart around them for various reasons from PTSD to other medical issues when the goverment seems to always be trying to save a few bucks at the veterans expense or just plain ignoring them in hopes that we just go away many end up taking their own life or living on the streets and the government and media looks the other way and says i dont see it so it cant be happening

I was going to let the video do the talking but after thinking i feel every one should send this to their representatives in the government to tell them to stop playing all the political games with the lives of our military ,veterans and their families caught in the middle they should take as much time caring for the people they put in harms way as they spend throwing mud at each other and things like steroids in baseball tell them to take care of the people who fight for them to have the lifstyle they enjoy so much

As a veteran of both Desert Storm and Iraqi freedom who has returned with medical problems that I have fought with since my return I understand the reasons the people now serving and the returning veterans need to know that they are supported at home weather or not you agree with the war we are doing the job that some of us signed on the line over 20 years ago to do so the question I leave you with is DO YOU SUPPORT US?
