On April 16, Hudson Riverkeeper Alex Matthiessen testified before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, urging Congress to pass the Clean Water Restoration Act (CWRA), the most important clean water legislation in 35 years. The Clean Water Act was passed in 1972, but our waterways are still polluted and their protection has been eroded.
