Steven Sears was gracious enough to give AUSXIP reporter Christa and MaryD a very interesting and entertaining interview on various issues covering Steven's life and career choices, what the fandom has meant to him, working on Xena and other hot issues. On Thursday January 24, 2008, just before the Xena Convention weekend, many Xena fans from all over the world gathered in front of NBC Studios in Burbank, CA to join the WGA writers on one of their picket lines. Some Talking Xena members had the opportunity to march in solidarity with other fellow Xenites to support the writers, and talk with various former Xena writers, cast and crew (including Renee O'Connor, Steven Sears, Victoria Pratt, Rob Tapert, Katherine Fugate, Liz Friedman, and many others).
