One of a series of proposed promotional videos for an online news aggregating service, completed in April of 2008 during the Democratic Primary.
This Episode was rejected by the client due to concern that a naive portrayal of Barack Obama would reflect poorly on the site. Creator Daniel Kibblesmith is an avowed Obama supporter and contributed time and donations to his 2008 campaign.

Part one of four.
Continuity driven sketch comedy written by and starring Max Hegel & Daniel Kibblesmith. Created in early 2007 for a local contest that misrepresented its guidelines so severely that we were disqualified. Their loss is YouTube's gain.
Also featuring the talents of Matt DeCook, Hayley L. Rice, Leah Freeman, Jack Pointer and Divet O'Sawgrass.

The Horror Alert system was implemented in the late seventies to give the government a "comprehensive and effective means to disseminate information regarding the risk of highly motivated monster and man-monster attacks to Federal, State, and local authorities and to the American people."
I don't want to think about where we'd be without it. See more at http://www.kibblesmith.com

The last first film I'll ever make.
Columbia College Chicago Production I film, 16mm B/W Reversal stock. I had been working on video since I was five, but this was the first "film" I was ever able to make. My logic was, a director should always make their last film first, that way, should they die unexpectedly, their body of work can still have closure.
So, in this way it's also the first last film I'll ever make. Enjoy.
