http://www.karenkooper.com I attended the Chanel Spring-Summer 2008 Ready-to-Wear Runway Show which took place on Friday, October 5th 2007 at 10:30AM at the Grand Palais de la Découverte, Avenue du Général Eisenhower Paris 8ème. The show explored Karl Lagerfeld's vision of the new ready-to-wear line for 2008 Spring-Summer season, called "Nuits d'Été" or "Summer Nights". Drawing upon the spirit of Coco Chanel's 1950's vision of the American spirit, notable pieces of interest this year include Dollar Broches, grommets and portholes on bags, stripes and star-strung jewelry, elegant pearls and chains, and even a play on denim materials with masculine-feminine overalls.
