My feathered architect's "nestlings" are about one week old in this video and will be leaving the nest soon. I hope you will check out my feathered architect photo album that documents their growth from the first scrap of paper to start the nest to when they fly away. I will miss them when they go! I want to acknowledge my son for his editing skills to cut the time down on this video shoot so it fits within MySpace's limits. I got this video by positioning my camera up the tree to record the feathered architect when I saw it was feeding time. I put my camera up while she was away getting food and left it on record. I just wanted to note that I learned today that the mother robins eats the nestling's POO (which is excreted as little "loogie" looking sacs) to keep the nest clean. Gross I know, but just like how she carries off the hatchling's shell, it is all instinct to keep ATTENTION from being draw to her nest.

Recycle, Reuse, Rebuild, that's what Robin Red Breast was up to this weekend. I was following her architectural prowess this morning as my feathered friend constructed her nest. I thought it was so cool that she scooped up and used the materials I put down for her. Sorry the quality is rather poor but it's not about the imagery in this video, it is the story!
isn't he just precious, my new little pet bee, Optimus Prime! check out his "tongue" as he grooms himself, you either find it creepy, freaky, scary, or charming.
Everyone has something in life that they feel passionate about, the question is are they willing to defend it? Everything is all well and good until you go for the cookies! My chihuahua, Tito, is obsessed with the cookie Milkbone dogtreats "hotdogs" brand!
my little PET bee made a cameo appearance in this nature rose video where I was trying to show you the true SIZE of my red roses. He is going to start demanding royalties!
Mother Nature helps me grow beautiful roses, bumble bees are my buddies. Just not Tito's, he shows he is jealous of my attention to my garden visitor, sorry it is blurry at the end on my chihuahua but I don't know how to swap from macro to normal setting while filming.
a glimpse into my rose garden for the 2009 growing season, usually I don't get roses like these until closer to summer but with the "climate change" (globalwarming) the rose season just keeps getting longer and longer. please visit my photo albums for more inspiring nature photography.
www.marthaeveretteramirez.com Abstract Painting featuring the texturizing and specklization given from adding ordinary table salt to the paint. yields a wonderful lively prismatical refraction of light that bounces off the salt crystal in the art when viewed. I have no clue as to why I am whispering in the video, maybe I am insecure about how the artwork will be received, nah that's not why, it's just it was shot early and I didn't want to wake the rest of my family, that would mean I would have to stop being in my ARTIST mode and switch to Mommy mode and start cooking breakfast.
newly emerged cicada, was rather fond of my camera since I recorded his entire "birth" emergence! to see his birth visit my youtube clip http://tr.youtube.com/watch?v=21fT2iORTa8
