Some really fun vid of a surf trip to Port Aransas Texas ... with my good buddies Dwayne (the guy in the white truck) and Shaun (the guy in the green hood) ... Round 2001 or so.
These guys are some of my fav local freaks. Smashingly fucked up and resplendent. I pray they reap the best of everything in the years to come.
BTW ... @ 1:42mins or so ... that's my own Ghey Self(tm) totally destroying a South Texas lefthand beach break. I make no qualms about it. I surf like a full on God o' Victory (or Demon, depending on your religious preference).
Eat me, cock suckas.
;-)

This is an alternate version of my already published, World Famous Cow Chasing Insomniac video.
I was just going through all my archives and found this.
Thought I'd send it to all my GheySpace(tm) pals.
rock on!
.joelito.
A truly funny bit of truthful video verbage. It really happened. I was trying to sleep. No. Reallyl. I was ... but this fucker with his Nitrous-Charged Weed Eater(tm) next door didn't wanna play nice.
LOL
He's actually a very nice Vietnamese man ... I like him ... we trust each other ... but I sure as fuck wasn't expecting gas fumes at 6am.
LOL.
Funny clip I just found this evening from a Costa Rica surf trip back in 1999. Our car had broke down (actually, we killed it) and this funny little Costa Rican dog came over to chill with me.
I called him Paco.
He showed me how much he appreciated my thumping him on the back by occasionall turning around and opening his mouth wide to show me his teeth.
Cute little fella!
This is one of the shortest songs I've ever written.
Also one of the most personally telling.
It arose out of some fairly scathing and humbling circumstances of about a few or four years ago. Those who inspired it will know full well what I'm getting at.
Those who don't?
Well ... the harmonies are sort of fun if nothing else.
:-)
Little jaunt I wrote to celebrate the wondrous folks I've known along the way. And they have been truly wondrous. I feel lucky to have known some of you (a few who are featured in the vid, BTW).
Thanks to my sister, Leah for some of the sensual imagery used in the video. The gilr's face at the end of the vid is just timeless and lovely.
She always wanted me to video her model friends at runway shows and what not and it's made for some surprisingly good vid content after the fact.
Love ya sis.
(smooch!)
Lyrics:
Just now, a song came through on the wire
but i can't remember the words.
Something 'bout starting a fire,
or the sweetest songs that i've heard.
And your not driving me crazy,
so hush now and lets get to work.
I'd rather have somebody near me
to wake and to know without...
Words, oh they hang in the air!
This is one path among many,
and still...
I am pleased to meet you,
still...
I am pleased to be on this way.
Strange way.
Like now, a song comes through on the wire
and i make up every word.
Hard part's to know when your guessing
or when you've true heard what you heard.
And your not driving me crazy,
so hush now and lets get to work,
I'd rather have somebody near me
to wake and to know without ...
Words, oh they hang in the air!
This is one path among many
and still...
I am pleased to meet you
still...
I am pleased to be on your way.
strange way.
Once again here (as you'll find my tack towards the future) ... my goal is to bring you so far down that you realize it's better being happy than not.
:-)
This rant is about wishing I'd made better decisions.
And yet ... at the same time ... the proverbial ... "not beating dead horses."
What's done is done. No need to gesticulate and traumatize for a lifetime over such small fare.
This track should surely please any of you who love uber low slung and lo fi depressive fare.
I aim to please!
;-)
BTW: the video content is from my old warehouse flat ... while smoking a lot of pot ... the veiled female form throughout is some random footage I shot of a most sanguine and fine night club dancer from a popular houston techno club of that time ... round 1999 or so (strangely and beautifully egyptian in stature).
Enjoy.
If possible.
You know the drill.
LYRICS:
"Oh so many regrets, they go unheard...
Rather haste them away to the horde...
To silently strengthen, that legion
Whose welfare wants not, when fed....
When fed...
Parsival! stay your hand!
The demon's slain.
Still the smoke rent the veil from your living
and it hums on and lengthens...
into season...
We rest not...
We want not...
We raise...
We rest not...
We want not...
We raise...
We raise...
...it honor on!
Send word I won!
And message wed with
sweet Gwynevere...
Be staid.
...
Oh, so many regrets....
(repeat as necessary)
:-)
....
A little descriptive rant. Serious content. Depressing as all fuck. The video content is about as offensive as it can get (to my eye, anyway) ... but in the end, it's appropriate to the song content. See jbhfile.com for more info.
Little ditty written for friends. The good kind. The one's that get under your skin and either hurt you like mad or love you more so. Kings and Queens, all.
Namaste.
LYRICS:
I stood up tall and really heard my voice.
The way it was ...
And I guess, the way it is.
And you were there.
In a line, a curve, a hook...
All propped up and proud.
And you were there...
While on two shoulders red...
Sung in a car, or was it sung in my head?
And you were there...
In a line, a curve, a hook.
All propped up and proud.
< harmonica solo >
Now I say finer!
Never finer than today...
Done thought back long
on the things we used to say.
And we were there...
In a line, a curve, a hook ...
All propped up and proud ...
A short little ditty I wrote to commemorate my love for all of those personal and close friends of mine who both know the truth but also feel restrained to speak it. Yes. It's your time in the sun. Bastards. If there's an elephant sitting in the living room, then your the only folks that can confirm such sitting. So start, already. (SMOOCH)
This is actually another installment to my Insomnia Series vids ... but since I'm wanting to pimp the GOV tracks ... I figured I'd publish it under that name.
Simple acoustic 4 track recording.
No planning.
Spur of the moment and all.
Just an idea.
But it goes well with bull fighting, don't you think? ;-)
Here's Wil and Co. seriously making a mess of some obviously Black Sabbath inspired riffs.
The point here is that this all happened at the greatest live show/dive bar to ever exist in the History of Houston, Texas ... EMOS!! ... truly ... it holds a sacred place in my heart, even though it's long since been shut down.
Hell ... I was frequenting the same building when it was known as "Around the World," ... being only a ripe 15 years of age and all ...
And at that time, the grift was much more towards Gay/Dance/Electronica ... but it was still so so fun.
What with the pet Cats walking around among the drunken attendees and what not ...
:LMAO!:
Mastadon, in this vid, just carries on the flame as far as I'm concerned.
And may Juan rest in peace!
He's the guy that first turned me on to "Around the World" ... the same building/bar that would later become my beloved *EMOS* !!! ... (!!!!!!!) ...
The greatest Houston rock bar to ever even think about existing.
(Much Love!)
Shows that come to mind:
1. Impotent Sea Snakes - with the live triple X sex acts going on onstage. (so sick!)
2. Sugartooth - when they caught everyone off gaurd with their unbeliviably HUGe and RIFF'd out stoner tracks (myself and Pinkerton included).
3. Mastadon: when they made EMo'S history by showing that being a Black Sabbath rip off band can still be seen as COOL as HeLL!
...
YaY!
