Double Door-Chicago always delivers @ their annual Halloween Bash, where bands dress-up and play their set as another band from the past. This time, it was Chicago's own, "The Sleepers" doing a great set as early-Aerosmith.

The band, BlackBox, performed their set @ Double Door's Annual Halloween Bash as, Michael Jackson. Even MJ's monkey, Bubbles, is on the drums! On this video, BlackBox does their version of "Smooth Criminal".

"The Midnight Shows" did a great job dressing-up as, and playing their set as, "Eddie Money" and his band, for Double Door-Chicago's annual Halloween Bash.

We were lucky enough to catch the indie pop/rock band, "Headlights" @ Schuba's, in Chicago, right before they kicked-off their European tour. The put on a really good show. I know the camera is a bit shakey, but the club was REALLY crowded for Headlights and I kept getting bumped around!

Another great band we caught @ Schuba's Bar over the weekend was an awesome indie electro/pop band from Chicago; called, "Helicopters". We knew of Helicopters, but we never had the opportunity to catch them live. They were the main reason we headed to this show in first place.

We headed over to Schuba's this past Friday (10-03-08) to check out a few bands. The opening act was a cool folksy rock outfit from the U of I area, called "World's First Flying Machine".

The band, Liquid Courage were the headlinders @ Elbo Room on this night, and to a fairly big and receptive crowd, too. We were diggin' Liquid Courage. Good music to drink to. ;-)

This was the first time the PLUGOLA street team heard or saw The Sleepers and we were pretty impressed. The crowd @ Double Door was really diggin; them too! Once you see/hear them, you will understand why.

The PLUGOLA street team happened to enter the club right as as the progressive indie rockers, The Attraction; were performing their last song for the night. I quickly busted out my flip video and was able to catch their final tune. It's unfortunate we missed most of their performance, because they're pretty damn good, as we found out.

Elbo Room (in Chicago) had a few good bands playing this past Saturday (9-20-08). Another one was, "Blue Moon Revue". They had a cool indie blues/rock thing going on. Watching these guys live, you can just tell they are having a great time on stage; a quality not a lot of bands have.
The PLUGOLA street team went Elbo Room Sat. night (9-20-08) on whim. We weren't sure what to expect, since we were unfamiliar with the bands on the bill, but it urned out to be a great show. Here's one of the bands that performed that night: "Welcome To Ashley"

Caught a good metal show @ Double Door this past Sat. We usually don't go to the same music club two weeks in a row, but we couldn't pass-up a free metal show. Unfortunately, we only caught part of the show. Here's a clip of the bands we did see. The bands were: Boomslang, 9mm Solution & Second Path
Caught a good show @ Double Door in Chicago friday night. The line-up was(from opener to headliner): Underfed, Bellevue Suite, March on Command and Mindsight (not shown in video). Here are a few snippets from the show in one video clip.
