It's quite amusing how some people don't actually LISTEN to what Oliver says in his videos. Thank you for your entertainment - truly flawless! But more importantly, thank you to you Oliver for your wonderfully moving and thought provoking works!
To accept this movie as "History" is to believe Star Wars really happened. Mr. Stone, I respect your film making prowess, but really, you concocted a conspiracy in JFK to make a good movie, but that's just it: You made it up! And folks believed it
W. was really great. You made me actually like Bush for two hours. I must know the significance of the corn on the lawn when W. meets Laura... Its bugging me that I can't figure it out.
Mr. Stone - I have been a fan of yours since Platoon. Your films always capture and challenge different periods of cultural and political movements in America. To me that is exciting. I can't wait to see "W".
The best definition of "history" I've ever heard is. "A chronological event plus the prejudice of interpretation". Your interpretation of Nixon was brilliant I thought so "W' should be just as interesting.
I may disagree with you politically, Mr. Stone. However, three of your films that I've seen, "JFK," "Alexander" and "World Trade Center," are all powerful films that I truly enjoyed. Not sure what to make of "W." yet, but that's fine. God bless!
I'm expecting a great Molly Ivins-like ride as compelling as JFK. Josh Brolin looks scary good in the trailers. This Texas Dem. is looking forward to it.
